Stove Top Christmas Pot

It’s the most wonderful time of the year to knock out two partridges in a pear tree with one stone. Invite the cozy scent of Christmas Cheer into your home while keeping your humidity levels at par with my favorite Stove Top Christmas Potpourri.

Harvard Research has shown keeping between certain humidity levels can decrease flu and other infections.

I’ve also linked the hygrometer I use in our home, it was around $10. The research suggest keeping it between 40%-60%, I aim to keep it between 40%-50% for mold purposes.

You can use any citrus rind you like, I prefer orange or mandarin since we go through boxes of mandarins this time of the year. And I mean boxes. Which is why I end up making this holiday tantalizing pot of cheer.

•orange rind. Any citrus rind but I love orange at Christmas.

•cranberries. I’ve even seen apples.

•cinnamon sticks

•3-5 drops of doTERRA Christmas Peace

•distilled or filtered water

Directions: place water and ingredients into steel pot. Turn stove on high, bring to a light boil, then turn down to low. You can place a timer on so if you need to remember to turn the stove off. Refill with water as needed. I dispose every three days but you can do as you do boo boo.
