Quick Fix Breakfast Buddha Bowl

Nothing seems to awaken the senses in the morning like the aroma of apple cinnamon swirling through the kitchen. Also, nothing seems to bring me to life like a healthy, wholesome breakfast that takes less than 10 minutes to serve up. This sweet breakfast has quickly become a staple for me and it may or may not be due to the fact that I always have an assortment of raw nuts on hand, as well as apples or pears. Speaking of quick and to the point, are ya'll ready for the recipe? Honestly,we both know I can go on and on over breakfast food and Buddha bowls...but I know you all really came here for the recipe and not my tangent filled babble. So here ya go, kick your day off with this bad boy.


Ingredients:

  • one apple peeled and chopped

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or preferred nuts

  • coconut oil

  • almond milk or nut milk of choice

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 meadool date chopped or 1 tbsp raisains

  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds

  • shredded coconut

  • blueberries


Directions:

Add coconut oil to pan on medium-high heat, sauté chopped apple and raw nuts. Sprinkle cinnamon over apple walnut mixture. Will take a few minutes to soften apple, not long. Place mixture into bowl, pour almond milk over mixture. Add chia seeds, shredded coconut and blueberries.
